As I promised last week, here is the second bike that Matteo up cycled before leaving Italy and the last one that we will be sharing (for now!)

We called it the Black Mamba, because at the end of the project it had a total-black aggressive look!

Well there is a couple more that we didn’t have time to share. So excuse our delay but here comes the first of two bicycles.

A classy Atala bike

Here comes another post on one of the bikes Matteo updated last year while we were in Italy. This time it was an old Atala bike, a classic Italian bike.

DIY dog bicycle basket

My mom (and sister, although she is studying in Padova now, so she is not living at home anymore) has a tiny little dog: Erica. She is a wire haired Dachshund Kaninchen, very tender and loving. She always snuggles on your lap and just wants to be cuddled. She is very little and very good-behaving, so my mom wanted to be able to take her around, also on her bicycle.

A quick update to our first bike

In honour of our first Blogiversary and of our first post ever, here comes a little update on that bike, my bike, that back then got pimped and we shared with you.

Our vintage Willer bike turned yellow!

You might remember one of the bikes Matteo restored: it was a 70’s Willer bicycle. As you check on the old post he did quite a few things to make it shine, but he tried maintaining its vintage classical look. But then, when we decided to move again we couldn’t keep that bike as well (in addition to mine and his), we decided to sell it.

A cruiser custom bicycle

A couple of months ago we found a really cool folding Sanremo bicycle in my grandma’s garage. The bike was in very good conditions, so at the beginning we thought we would sell it as it was.

A restored 26” Willer bicycle

We bought a really cool bicycle in a thrift store: it’s a Willer from the 70’s. It was in a good shape, especially the frame and the rims.

It’s the first bike story

When Matteo and I moved from Venice to Padova, I really needed a bike. Padova is a great city for people who love riding a bike: it’s not too big, so you really get everywhere on a bike, and in the last years the city administration tried implementing the cycling lanes
