In honour of our first Blogiversary and of our first post ever, here comes a little update on that bike, my bike, that back then got pimped and we shared with you.
As you might remember, Matteo revamped my old pink Bianchi bike and made it lighter and easier to ride in the hills of Madrid. When we moved back to Italy we wanted to try something new.
Little changes made it very different, even lighter and easier to ride. We changed the seat with a hard but extremely confortable one, eliminated the front brake and, after repainting the Willer bike yellow, we added the old racing handlebars (with a different lever) and the vintage bell that Matteo used on the Willer bike in the first restoration.
It’s quite a strange bike now, people tend (well tended actually, since I couldn’t take it with me to Jerusalem) to stare at me all the times, because of the weird union of a woman bike with some racing parts. But I love it of course!
