As you might have realised by now each time we stay in Italy for a bit we put ourselves in the position of doing some huge diy project that we manage to finish just few days before leaving. I am not complaining, at all: we love the things that come up like that, at the very end, without planning, just hard work and fun.

Here comes a new DIY: a green wood folding door. We did it for my mom’s house: it closes a sort of closet placed under the stairs in her garden. So we wanted something light, that would fit well in the outdoors and especially that could be folded and take up little space. Continue reading
My mom (and sister, although she is studying in Padova now, so she is not living at home anymore) has a tiny little dog: Erica. She is a wire haired Dachshund Kaninchen, very tender and loving. She always snuggles on your lap and just wants to be cuddled. She is very little and very good-behaving, so my mom wanted to be able to take her around, also on her bicycle. Continue reading
