As you might have realised by now each time we stay in Italy for a bit we put ourselves in the position of doing some huge diy project that we manage to finish just few days before leaving. I am not complaining, at all: we love the things that come up like that, at the very end, without planning, just hard work and fun.

You might remember that while we were living in Padova we updated a brass chandelier with a bright coat of blue spray paint. Well, that was actually our second attempt of painting that sort of material.
Recently it was my sister’s birthday and searching for a present I couldn’t really find something cute and right for her. My husband’s parents had a really nice and sturdy dresser/buffet in their living room. It was huge. Approximately 2 meters long, 50 cm deep and more than 1 meter height but its six drawers and a door on the left side of the full height of the dresser gave a great storage space (sorry I don’t have a picture of the piece has it used to be, but I think you might get an idea looking at the pictures).
